Introduction to Botanical Printing on Fabric and Paper Using the Immersion Technique Join Leslie Marsh for this one-day workshop in which students will be introduced to the art of botanical printing. Participants will use very simple ingredients -- leaves, water and heat -- to make beautiful prints on fabric and paper. Gathering materials from wind-fallen leaves, florist’s filler and grocery discards, students will create stunning pages and blocks of fabric. Materials will be provided; however, students are welcome to bring their own scraps of fabric or paper to play with. Natural fibers, such as silk and wool work best. And watercolor paper.
