Is Jonkheer Jewelry the same as Cicada Metals?

That’s us! Our name has changed, but we’re still the same on the inside.

What does texture mean?

The way that metal is hammered can produce different patterns on the surface, ranging from rounded divots to the impression of a leaf or handmade paper. The textures you’ll find at Jonkheer Jewelry are almost always inspired by those found in nature.

Can some of these pieces be resized?

Most items in the store can be tweaked just a little, but a big size change could compromise the integrity of the metals. As for necklaces/pendants, we offer a 16-inch chain as the standard, but those can be exchanged for 18”, 20”, or 24” chains.

Do you offer custom designs?

Yes! There is a limit on the number of custom orders we can work on at once, though, so please call the shop (910-523-5208) to make an appointment and we’ll see what we can do for you.

Will I be charged sales tax?

New Hanover County requires us to charge you 7% on credit card and cash transactions.

Do you do repairs?

Accepted Answer

We will repair jewelry purchased from our store, usually for a small fee. As for pieces from other shops, we may be able to recommend a place for you to try instead.
